Music by John Hook Beach? Many define it by geography and type of songs it contains, while describing the “friendship” and “good time” as the glue that binds. If you’re like me you are happy with brilliant costumes, square dancing, two stepping in bars country, bumping and jostling in the clubs, line dancing and the modern clubs. They are all filled with friendship and good times, doing illustrations of this insufficient Beach Music what it is. 1. Beach Music in the East and West are similar, but not the same thing. The two coastal communities to celebrate the individuality and self expression. At the center of Western culture is the beach side community of web quests encourage private marked by achievements of our athletes, while dance culture is the coast inspired a new form of social success. 2. East Coast Beach Music nurtures new ideals of social equality, romance, free expression and improvisation. Fifteen years before Rock and Roll, the white teenagers in the South-East embraced black music as their own. At the same time they have developed a new dance to express themselves. From this mixture Shag evolved. 3. Many have found the secret rites of Shag and Beach Music at the beach. As Internet users “soul” of the West Coast, “dancers soul” set new standards for “good life.” At the beach, personal history and hometown remained at home while they assumed nicknames and developed new personalities. 4. Rhythm & Blues and Jazz were the foundation for the Shag. In addition to black music in the beginning, the dancers often overturned soul pop hits to see if the national side “B” had lost the right and the carefree mood mixture of inland and coastal flats. 5. Society sometimes misread as mere “rebels.” Like their West Coast alter-egos that they did not rebel as much as the formation of new communities and social hierarchies of greater equality with the rights of self-expression. 6. Balmy days and nights, sensual moves Shag, and their own coat of arms “novels were embraced dizzy. The dress code Shaggers’ Bass Weejuns included, no socks, cashmere sweaters, shirts and Madras. Like the knights of old, unmarried partners were revered. When they danced, * * it was the most beautiful woman in the world. 7. East soul dancers Coast dedicated to art of playing as equals hard work. As such, they are considered equivalent in the social life at work. So they worked summer jobs to support themselves, they have worked so hard “not working” on the dance floor. 8. It was like a sexual revolution. It really was not focused on sex. Self-reliance and costs have been the guiding principles and the “date certain” was part integral Beach Music. They have dance before drinking it – unlike some who need a “boost” to lower their inhibitions. 9. Beach Classic Songs include hits national treasures and unknown outside the South East. Fifties songs famous beach of the favorable situation in several ways. Although “Drinkin ‘Wine Spo Dee O Dee” mentioned wine, more loudly proclaimed the “good time”! Fifties hits included “Good Rockin ‘Tonight,” “Sixty Minute Man” and “Sh-Boom.” The 60s have added hundreds of others as “under the deck,” “My Girl”, “What does it take to win your love, “and” Brown Eyed Girl. 10. The “Shag” were other names, including”’Bop’ and Freestylin ‘Fas’ Dancin’. The music has not been appointed for 25 years! Initially, most teenagers, he situated on the beach. Finally, there were 500 domestic + dance clubs, pavilions, restaurants, swimming pools and fishing lakes with a dance floor. Beach Music and Shag show’s history a culture of individual uniqueness in rituals of music and romance experienced by those who danced to their own fate. Community Beach Music has been a “beta” version of MySpace, a “flat” world where everyone was equal, each member was charge of their own self-expression and the accumulation of friends with whom they have common interests. The Internet has simply made the area of dance partners much more. To learn more about this fascinating chapter of life American is still being written, follow this link http://www. beachshag. com / BMG 20SITC%. htm “FESSA” John Hook is a broadcaster of 39 years captains Endless Summer Beach and Shag network music on the net. His three books on the beach music and Shag are: “Shaggin in the Carolinas,” and “Beach Music Guide 1945-2006, Volumes 1 & 2″ and another “Dancing on the Edge – how music has liberated the South, “forthcoming in fall 2009. “Shagging in the Carolinas,” according to Hook, a music enthusiast Beach and Shag, is a love letter that took 26 years to write. “- Sun Times wrote about how Hook shagging defied social conventions as carefree white teenagers were inspired by the possibilities inherent in improvisational black dance and music. “- Lexington Dispatch Hook knows whereof he speaks when it comes to Beach Music. As a presenter of the late 1980s, he was responsible for the first full-time music Beach radio station in history …. It chronicles the evolution of dance …. before Lindy Hop, Jitterbug before, came the Shag, a dance born and raised in the Carolinas. “- Our State Magazine

Traveling with a teenager is not always end in tears. It can be a positive period for the whole family, full of laughter and excitement. Follow the tips in this guide, you will turn your vacation with your teenager in a positive bonding experience.Traveling with teenagers can be a positive adventure. Contrary to common belief that traveling with a teenager is stressful traveling with young when spent with lots of laughter and light conversation or can be a source of inspiration very rewarding. Travel with a teenager should not be synonymous with long periods of silence punctuated by the echo of the headphones slowly making your teenager hearing impaired. However, the expectation and the accompanying attitude that you pack is more likely that your teen is engaging in return.Teenagers are known to be very egocentric individuals that take away from their families in any way because they know they want nothing but for them to become full grown enjoy full rights of all and responsibilities. This is only partially true. Travel with a teenager is a good chance for you and your teen to break away from the routine life, the expectations of daily responsibilities and efforts. Growing is a difficult thing for teenagers and a little break from the ordinary life they have is proved rewarding for you both.Do not push, stay calm, Curb Forced HumorDo not try to be funny. Yes, all teenagers are bringing back a little sarcastic humor, but do not try to be their friend and yourself with some very low crack jumblespeak you think your teenager will appreciate. Be yourself. Being a parent. Let them slowly open during the trip. If you’re beating your precious time to the throat then chances are that you spend your time looking at one or more diligently to try to spoil it. If you relax and put up some interesting points along the way, whether on travel or life in general, and really listen to their responses during this pause for four seconds between tracks to CD, you’ll create a solid basis for moving forward the travel.Teenagers know that parents tend to believe that they are generally irresponsible individuals. They know you’re praying that this is not sex, drugs, drinking, or downloading material from the horrible Internet while suspecting they are when your back is turned. Expect your teen to push a few buttons and rattle your chains when you walked into their area or broken by their wall of sound, even for a while. The longer you take their behavior in the wake of the less they grow and the greater the chance of a real connection to occur.Understanding Music is vitalFor all adolescents who are traveling with one or two parents in a car for a period of time there is absolute necessity for them to zone off into their world and their music to crank a little harder as you want. Most procedures adolescent process life and daily meetings in this manner, allowing them to do things the way they can help pave a smooth way of connecting with them especially when the runway is completed.Ask-Tell and ListenAsk your teen questions of real life. If you value their opinion, honestly, you and your child can have a quite unique and in-depth conversations that lead to better understanding and more involved method of communication. It is important to take your teens to a notion that you do not agree with them all the time just to show you love, but rather make them feel they have the right to speak openly and listen to you and Most importantly, they have the ability to think what is right. You and your teen will be caught and for the duration of your trip. You can bring along a good attitude and connect with each other or you can forget your good attitude at home and pretend that there is not a vessel loaded with stress and tension ruin your trip . When trapped with an adolescent, the parents’ attitude is the key to success.

As a consultant, I saw many parents themselves overwhelmed trying to be the “perfect parent” to their young. When their efforts within and relationship with their teenager is missing, many parents may feel frustrated and disappointed. Here are some myth busters how to be the perfect parent. To have a good relationship with my teenager, I need:1. Spend every waking moment with my boySomewhere there’s a great idea that good relations with adolescents begins spending all day every day with them. As if “perfect parents” are those who spend all their free time with their teens, by filling their days shopping center, or work together happily in the backyard.Yes and no! Spending time with their parents is something that teens really want, and enjoy doing so. However, teenagers also want their independence. It is better to find a moment and respond to them, than trying to overload your teenager. As at the end, which can lead a young fool.2. Have a serious talk of the philosophy of life every morning. The morning can be a difficult time of day for parents and adolescents. Pressured Parents often try to get their teenagers to wake up to the door, usually with a kind of half – eaten pastry hanging from their mouths.Save the in depth philosophical discussions of the time when there are no distractions. Make the morning as smooth as possible. For many people, how they start their morning to determine their mood for the rest of the day.3. Using every last penny of my salary for all my teen fantasiesParents want the best for their teenage children and enjoy being able to give their teenagers gifts and gadgets they have not had during their adolescence. However, sometimes parents can get carried away and continue financially while trying to give their teens the best life possible. The irony is that most adolescents do not necessarily want a lot of money raining down on them. Now do not get me wrong, most accept donations of money and extravagance. But if one parent is trying to show love by spending money on them, may very well turn around. Teens are eager to be able to distinguish between genuine love and admiration purchased.4. Knowing the answers to their questionsAs parents, we want to be the “go to person” of our youth. However, some parents assume that filling position means they must be informed of sage for all life’s problems. As if their inability to give a response equivalent to being a failure as a parent.Horse Hockey! What’s a parent to do? Find someone who may know the answer. Being able to point your teenager in the right direction will encourage self-determination, and it will show that you listen and take their questions seriously.5. Be cool parentsMany parents try to be “cool” parents who melts into the teenage crowd. They dress the part, listen to the same music as their teenager, and even try to resume the current slang of the day. While the intention of wanting to connect to the world of adolescence is noble, often this can result in embarrassment for you and your teen.Instead, be yourself. This does not mean that as a parent your dress clothes may not be current and contemporary. Or that you can not share any similar tastes in music or popular culture with your teen. However, the basic rule is authenticity rather than resorting to become one yourself teenagers trying to “Fit in” You’ll probably find that respect for your teen is not for you based on what you wear, but who you are.

Teenage Fashionwear Market Assessment Report (http://www. Bharatbook. Com / Market-Reports / Teenage-Fashionwear-market evaluation. Html) provides information Teenage Fashionwere market. The fashion market for young people, which is analyzed in this report, an estimated value of £ 9. 93bn at retail selling price (RSP) at the end of 2008, an overall increase of 14. 9% since 2004. Specifies that market clothing, footwear and accessories for male and female consumers aged between 13 and 24. That’s quite an age long, but believes that the so-called “young” years have widened somewhat, particularly at the lower end of the spectrum, since this report was last written in 2000 (when the market has been defined as those aged 15-24). Interest in fashion began at a young age – and this report makes clear, the boundaries are blurred between what is really built for teenagers, and similar patterns are produced for so-called “tweenagers, i. e. young consumers. At the end of the larger, so it may be difficult to determine a real dividing line between fashion and youth targeted to older generations. However, the way young people do have their own identity, in the sense that it arises from the tastes and concerns of a very group oriented ommunications generations. Peer ID is high, and the promulgation of ideas and cultural influences through the media and technology in the 21st century means that no young person is left isolated in terms of understanding this age group esteem and how it defines itself – and, more importantly, it is necessary to buy to feel connected with other teens. Influences of music, sport and politics, to some extent, all the food in the designs and styles of clothing brands to promote to young buyers, especially young male consumers. Icons of the music and fashion and celebrity circles, have a great influence as fashion models, young women in particular. Young people now have their own online social network sites, and a large majority of these regularly log on to connect with and interact with other users. The sense of a shared community of young is powerfully transmitted via sites such as Bebo and MySpace. Young consumers who still live at home often have relatively high levels of personal disposable income to use to express themselves through their choice of consumer goods – at least not through fashion. Thus, there is a growing target base of consumers by requiring very impressionable young men and women. While the clothing market for young people remains a distinct segment of fashion in the sense of the definition of taste and respond to fashion trends difficult, it also sets the pace of change to the former sectors, and affects drawings or models in the product lines on the conventional market. As already said, the blur between youth and adult fashion is often the result, but the youth market adds to the excitement on the market for clothes together. Young women, in particular, also benefit from the growth of discount retailing. Retailers such as Primark and New Look works on a rapid turnover of cheap clothing, offering young women the opportunity to change their wardrobe with much greater frequency. This allows them to think much more in terms of self-expression than previous generations have been able to. The accessories market, for example, is extremely strong at the moment (November 2008). The idea to dress in clothing basic items such as belts, scarves and jewelry is particularly attractive to young people as a form of self expression. As the clothing market in general, however, the market for teenage clothing (especially the female sector) was very sensitive to declining prices. value growth has been strong – and, in 2007/2008, in particular, some retailers have not demonstrated such strong sales. Next are examples (which is popular with younger buyers, but has experienced a slowdown in growth than in the past) and the French connection. Other retailers, such as the Arcadia Group fashion chains (Miss Selfridge, Topshop and Topman), continue to successfully create a demand for bold ideas and trendy in fashion and were rewarded with growth rates relatively healthy given the current economic slowdown. The challenge for retailers and brands is to match the emotional aspirations of young men and women. Many brands make this a cornerstone of their marketing and drawings. Perhaps the most salient example of this diesel is where the pioneers unusual marketing investment and sponsorship in art and music world. Many brands are also trying to establish links between technology and fashion. Some are trying to expand their product lines in areas such as mobile phones, or using mobile technology – especially the third generation (3G) – as a marketing channel and focus trend. Others follow the trend set by network providers such as Virgin and Orange, sponsoring musical events and thus more closely aligned with the style of fashion icons of the music world. If the fashion industry is to continue its growth, these strategies are likely to become even more sophisticated cross-media. Advertising beyond traditional print and television is likely to expand further – with the increased use and effectiveness of the Internet, in particular, to tap into the concerns of youth and to influence choice.

Teenage TurmoilEDGAR ALEXISSenior Kurt Woodward goes to school at about half past seven It is the torn jeans and the plaid jacket he had just bought at the store on weekends. His compliments to equip his mirror sunglasses, guitar emblazoned slip-ons, hair unkempt, and his hair newly grown facial. It is an “indie” Kid.”I dress the part,” Woodward went on to say, “how we [the youth clothing] is a suit for this role that we play … we could be the bad boy, good girl, nerd, or the socially excluded, who dresses like a rocker. “Kurt is seen strutting on campus with a single file, a Les Paul attached to its back, a pencil behind his ear, and a paperback book folded in his back pocket he plays the misunderstood outcast who lives for his music, but it goes without saying that it is an intelligent person, that the few passersby said that the book she actually carries along Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka.Kurt is one of the majority of adolescents who become too buried in criticism, stereotyped, the identification of adolescents. There are “Bad Boys” that all girls should stay away from, but in any case regardless of the fall for the notion of parents “ulterior motives. “Then there are the girls’ well, you know those who say “yes ma’am” and “No, sir” and sit in their clothes Swank, crossed legs.Your typical nerd is classified as a bookworm with a common mode button / social sense, the high water jeans, shirt, UPS lace, glasses and a pocket protector. Many teens may see a “nerd” a mile, every time a book report or project to be done, but is otherwise invisible.Speaking of invisibility, we meet with the excluded, “the switch” / “emo” / “indie kid”, which essentially operate according to their musical tastes, but are often misunderstood and have the ability, unlike the Most adolescents, to see the big picture.Although most people do not consider judgmental or bias, the truth is that everyone is a victim of stereotypes and we were to create them first. Many adults do not take into account the comments of colleagues and disapproval, but adolescents and stereotypes not only induces more cycle.Kurt, unfortunately, is a victim of the war of perception and the “normality” But he is not alone. Many children everywhere are stereotyped as Kurt was, thus deciding the popularity or the state, if you want, at school.By reading this, one wonders if the popularity means nothing.”People knowing your name to the school makes no difference, because once you step out into the world starting over,” said Mary Ellen Ashby, a spectator neighborhood. While all that was said earlier is true, we must look at the child point of view. School, high school in particular, is seen by children as a social event of all kinds. From a child attending school, popularity is important because it determines where you are sitting at lunch, which you click down, you go to the ball’s popularity is a vital organ for the student body.Group photo of high school students as a whole, they form one body, literally. Popularity decides what organ you are and how you help your body with your skills. Now that the level of popularity has been gained, there is a minimum tolerance for mixing, unless it is business as-i. e. nerds get paid for doing homework. These stereotypes tears apart friendships that have lasted long, to the point of the school.Unfortunately, this is inevitable because the stereotypes teenagers implemented friendships between “your kind” between the cliques. Very few children break the barriers of social discrimination, and even fewer do it successfully. The way to break both thinks is indestructible barricade through a universal language. Many believe English is or should be, the universal language, however, not all cultures know the English language. Even if English is not the universal language, it still exists, and this, in everyone’s life, no matter what language they speak music. Music is a considerable part of every culture, it does not matter if you’re Hispanic, Asian, Caucasian, or if you are an immigrant because music is universal, the music sends messages to the public in each culture. If more musicians, who are former high school students have taken the time to compose a song / album on tolerance and fight against stereotypes high school, then there would be less damaging to the psyche of children already unstable secondary.Children, especially those of high school, enjoy music a lot.A “good girl and enthusiastic seniors at Charter Oak High School, Vanessa Crockett expressed,” music is my life. I live, eat, breathe and music. “Therefore, tolerance and anti-stereotyping messages should be implemented in the obsessive culture of today.”Frankly, Snow Patrol or Avenged Sevenfold performed songs that prove these [stereotypes] wrong, more people listen … I know I,” said Frankie McMillan, a sophomore at San Dimas High School .In short: the stereotypes are commonplace in the lives of high school students and must still be contained. However, with the change of music is possible with the music stereotypes would cease to exist, which could reduce violence in schools, is that if most of fights in high school are conducted between individuals belonging to different clans.
