You do not know that SOA is happening with me on this one, but it seems that the more I listen, the better Rainbow Rising subjects. Rainbow Rising has just said one of their best albums to date. It’s a beautiful day I rarely get a CD from an artist that I can honestly say does not have a bad track in the bunch. I am more than happy to announce that AOS exactly what I should say about it. It is simply not bad in the bunch. No charges at all here.Unfortunately, AOS not everyday that I get a CD of control that I can just insert in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. There is usually a song or two that I can simply Aot forces me to go through. Not at all the case with Rainbow Rising. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from beginning to end.A Nice refreshing things about this CD is the average of all the participating artists seem to be really fun. Combine that with the overall presentation and you got one Äôve news Rainbow the most impressive ever.Listen Rainbow Rising and I believe you, Äôll find little to say please. The songs are inspired, the production is simply outstanding, and clearly the job of a group of musicians in top form. So much so that if you’re even slightly into Rock music you’ll enjoy this CD.While the entire CD is outstanding some of my favorites are track 2 – Run With The Wolf, track 4 – Do You Close Your Eyes, and track 6 – Light In The BlackMy Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [. . . as in "Stuck On Repeat"] is track 1 – Tarot Woman. Good stuff!Rainbow Rising Release Notes:Rainbow Rainbow Rising released April 27, 1999 on the Polydor label.List of Songs follows:1. Tarot Woman 2. Run With The Wolf 3.

You do not know what is happening with me on this one, but it seems that the more I listen, the better Quadrophenia. Quadrophenia is simply stated one of their best album to date.Who has been a heavy hitters in the Rock genre for quite a while now and Quadrophenia is an excellent example of why.Quadrophenia was pleasantly varied, mix of 17 tracks that are very well written and brilliantly performed songs by these clearly talented musicians. With most of the songs displaying a lot of emotion that does everything for a really great listen. Seemingly drawing from what I can only imagine are their own personal experiences. At different points touching on the most real emotions of love, sorrow, pain, no relationships and romance impossible. They are all there.Overall Quadrophenia is a statement of movement. Quite possible Who is the best yet. Really sensational from beginning to end. If you’re even slightly in the rock music you will enjoy this CD.While the entire CD is outstanding some of my favorites are track 5 – The Punk and The Godfather, track 2 – disc 2 – sea and sand, and lane 7 – disc 2 – Love, Reign O’er MeMy Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [. . . as in "Stuck On Repeat"] is track 1 – I am the sea is a great track!Release Notes Quadrophenia:Who Quadrophenia originally published on July 2, 1996 in association with MCA Records.List of Songs follows:Disc 1: 1.

“Christian Rock”, the genre often scoffed at by traditional rock artists, fans and critics alike is gaining popularity and stamping its place as a sort after genre for the young generation of head-striking, mosh-pitting gurus ! Did not Christian rock die a few years ago, you ask? Christian rock music is growing faster than ever before with Daily News of Christian Rock Music, new artists and albums streaming on the Internet and pumping the airways continuously every day. So where does this religious music come from? I mean, it’s new right? This type of rock music was not there 20 years ago, was it? Well, I do not think so, until recently, the reality is Christian music or should I say Christian rock music has been around seemingly since the dawn of creation! So why see it today, all the time? Where were the God Rocker for so long and what happened to the voice of damnation for those participating in anything other than a singing church choir or Sunday school? The chastity belt of Christian rock is alive and well today. There are many religious organizations who oppose this form of music, I will discuss later the opposition. Most Christians are in favor of this “movement” feeling that Christian rock music is another way to reach people the importance of the Christian faith. So why the controversy?, What is so different from the non-Christian rock music from the Christian rock? Many have asked this question and instead of quoting Mr. Bob Dylan “the answer is in the wind”, I thought to analyze the facts and see why there is so much “opposition” to the sounds of grace “flying”. After reviewing many rock & heavy metal groups and performance, then compare them to their Christian counterparts, I do not see much difference, but! The stage performance was very similar with the exception of non-Christian heavy metal revealing more of a dark and sometimes sadistic in general there was little or no difference in the presentation of Christian rock to standard or non-music -Christian. The only real difference I could see was in the lyrical content, with Christian rock music singing words from the Bible and preaching family values. So why Christian rock music introverted for so many years, apparently hidden in the shadows of the members standing over the Christian community? Well apparently they were not hiding at all, it’s just that I like many people do not even know they were around back then! Good old Christian rock bands like Petra, Stryper, Bryant, Whitecross and Tourniquet have thrilled the Christian and secular music lovers as for generations. The voice of rock damnation is still screaming louder than ever in some Christian circles although seemingly deaf ears of a Christian Rocker community that grows bigger every day. Who opposes this Christian liberation? Who else but other Christians! It seems that some segments of the WHO have not advanced to modern sounds are Bible bashing these Christian rock music head bangers with eternal consequences for their “error”. The most dramatic example was, I fell on the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) church who proclaim that Christian rock music is quote “Devil music”. The Seventh-day Adventist church preach that all rock music has the “beat the devil” borrowed from primate heathen rituals, beating in time with “natural rhythms of the body.” I found it hard to believe that People could think that way at first, but in fact it is true and the SDA church is serious about stamping out any rock music or anything for that matter that has a drum beat!

Rock music is often associated with heavy instrumentation, reverberating through a sound system and played by hyperactive musicians wearing a suit all black. This kind of music has been more than half a century of popularity with its achievements and catchy.Rock began in the 1940s and 1950s as a fusion of rhythm and blues, gospel and country music. Originally known as rock and roll, as represented by the disc jockey Alan Feed from Ohio, rock music combined influences resulted in blues-based style was simple and fast dancing.Instrumentation for rock music often include electric guitar, bass guitar, drums and keyboards. Others add to their line-up of instruments like the saxophone reed and French horn. String instruments like the mandolin and the sitar are occasionally seen in the field of rock music. Of all these instrumentations, it’s the guitar that is considered the star of the show. Guitars come as solid electric, hollow or acoustic. The electric guitar has been played and the style to rock rock roll in the early legends Chuck Berry, Link Wray and Scotty Moore. Texas blues guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan played a mix of blues and rock. As multi-track recording has been developed by Les Paul with its electronic processing by Joe Meek, it was not long after, when rock artists like Jackie and Bill Haley Breston out with their first rock and roll. Breston published his registration dossier under Rocket Records label 88 Sun Then, several years after, Haleys Rock Around the Clock was launched and topped the charts of Billboard magazine in terms of record sales and play time antenna. Sun Records also produced rock and roll king Elvis Presley’s first single labeled Thats All Right (Mama). Shake, Rattle & Roll Big Joe Turner was also the top of the Billboard R & B charts during this time. The merging of rock music extended into the 1960s and 1970s, with rock music combined with folk music to create folk rock, blues to create blues-rock, jazz and jazz-rock to create. Electrical instrument ambiance was incorporated into rock music to create psychedelic rock without worry. Influences from soul, funk and Latin music have been incorporated into rock music paves the way for the sub-genres like soft rock, heavy metal, hard rock, progressive rock and punk rock.Rock took a metal tower in the 1980s and 1990s with the entry of rock bands like Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Queen, Aerosmith, Kiss, AC / DC and Black Sabbath. Hard rock increased commercialization of rock and roll with albums and concerts being launched across the country. Arenas and other similar large rooms were used as gathering places for crowds and crowds of fans of rock music. live performances in rock concerts had rock fans to scream and let loose on rock bands of the scene at the performance level complete with stage design and pyrotechnics. Some other developments in rock music are retro style grunge, theatrical glam rock (Lou Reed, Iggy Pop, and the New York Dolls), intense Britpop (John Lennon and the Beatles), indie rock and nu ( Police, Duran Duran, Eurythmics and Culture Club).Rock has not been as popular with music critics at some point in time because of his dark and metallic sound too loud. But innovations and developments in the look, style and sound has slowly developed a following for rock music, not just the young crowd, but for the general public as well.
