Wiz Khalifa Brings Amber Rose On Stage

In case you’ve been under a rock:

-Kanye West dated a chick named Amber Rose (above) making her “famous”

-She’s now a fashion “icon” with an eyewear line and reality show on the way

-Wiz Khalifa has a song out called “Black & Yellow” thats climbing the charts

-Wiz messed around with Natalie Nunn (Bad Girls Club) a few weeks back

-Now he’s with Amber Rose

At a recent concert for his home teams (Pittsburg Steelers) victory the rapper performed the song he’s most popular for “Black & Yellow” and decided to have Amber join him on stage.

Amber’s cool but I think she’s really starting to milk her 16 minutes of fame. Wiz is getting blinded bling (bald) and just doing whatever. None of Kanye’s ex girlfriends have ever spent this much time in the media. Its good that he’s keeping calm and not saying much about her (aside from the subliminals in songs) but, I know I’m not the only one waiting to hear him say something off the wall.

Esperanza Spalding Takes Home Best New Artist Trophy, My Thoughts

Last night when it was announced that Jazz musician Esperanza Spalding won the Grammy for ‘Best New Artist’ over Mumford & Sons, Florence and the Machine, Drake and Justin Bebier. Some aren’t considering her a new artist because her debut album is 5 years old.

Even I expected Justin Bebier to win while reading the nominees list months ago but, I hoped Esperanza would shock the house and take it home. People are upset about her win with no reasons as to why they won’t let this girl be great. I applaud and salute her for being in a class of her own and giving up and coming musicians hope.

We’ll never hear music from the duo again but, they’re both working on solo projects. I’ve always been more fond of Marsha no offense to Natalie. Marsha’s album Late Nights, Early Mornings will be in stores March 11th and Natalie’s (she also dropped a new video yesterday) album dropped last year.

They’ve both gone through drastic physical changes… Natalie going bald and Marsha loosing weight but, we all have those memories of when they were together…
